Privacy Policy

FlatsInZirakpur.in is operated by Dewan Realtors. This page sets out what we collect when you use the site, why we collect it and what we do with it. It is written to be read rather than to cover us, so if anything here is unclear, ask and we will explain it.

The short version

We collect a name and a phone number, and only when you type them into an enquiry form yourself. We use them to reply to that enquiry. We do not run analytics, we do not run advertising pixels, and the site sets no cookies.

What we collect

When you submit an enquiry form, whether on a property page or on the About page, we receive:

  • Your name.
  • Your phone number, which we treat as a WhatsApp number unless you tell us otherwise.
  • Anything optional you select on the form, such as a preferred locality, configuration, budget, possession preference or a time to be called.
  • Which page you submitted the form from, so we know which property you are asking about.

That is the entire list. We do not ask for an email address, an address, an identity document or any financial information through this website. If you later engage us on a purchase, any documents that stage requires are handled directly with you and are not collected through this site.

Why we collect it

To reply to your enquiry, to send you the details, prices and availability you asked for, and to arrange a site visit if you want one. We may contact you about the same enquiry more than once, for example if the developer changes a price or a unit you liked is sold.

We do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not send bulk promotional messages to numbers collected here.

Where it goes

Your enquiry is stored privately inside this website’s WordPress installation and is also emailed to the Dewan Realtors team. It is visible to our staff and to whoever maintains the site. It is not sold, rented or shared with third parties for their own marketing.

We may pass your enquiry to a developer or their sales team where that is the only way to answer your question, for example to obtain a current price sheet or to register you for a site visit. We will tell you when we do that. Beyond that, your details stay with us.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept while they are useful, which for property is usually a long window, since buyers often return a year or two later. If you ask us to delete your details we will do so, and we do not keep a copy afterwards.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies. It runs no analytics service, no advertising or remarketing pixels, and no session tracking. Fonts are served from this site rather than from a third party, so loading a page here does not tell any outside company that you visited.

If that changes, for example if we add website analytics in future, we will update this page and put an appropriate consent notice in place before turning anything on.

Links to other sites

Some pages link out to dewanrealtors.com and to the Punjab RERA portal, and the WhatsApp and call buttons hand you over to WhatsApp or to your phone. Once you follow any of those, you are on someone else’s service and their privacy terms apply, not ours.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS, administrator access is limited and protected against repeated login attempts, and the site is backed up. No website can promise perfect security, but we do not store anything here beyond the enquiry details described above, which keeps the risk to you small.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop contacting you. There is no form to fill in and no verification hoop. Send the request from the number you enquired with, or email us, and we will action it.

Children

This site is meant for adults buying property. We do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 18, and if we learn that we have, we will delete them.
